The 2011 Hyundai Elantra offers two trim levels, the GLS and Limited. Both trim levels come standard with a 1.8-L DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder with Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing. The GLS comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission and the Limited comes standard with a 6-speed electronic automatic with an overdrive lock-up torque converter. The GLS and the Limited trim levels have both receives an EPA-estimated 29 mpg city and 40 mpg highway.
